Roxinhos sobrevivem ao tornado / Vinaceous-breasted amazon survive tornado

A região do Parque Nacional das Araucárias foi atingida por fortes chuvas e possivelmente um tornado na última semana.(http://goo.gl/0iUcJ2). As estradas de acesso ficaram prejudicadas, mas o sol finalmente voltou à brilhar e possibilitou que nossa equipe voltasse à campo. Muitos roxinhos já foram localizados e estão bem. Nossos pensamentos estão com as famílias que ainda sofrem os danos causados pelo mau tempo.

The Araucarias National Park area was hit by heavy rain and possibly a tornado last week (http://goo.gl/0iUcJ2). The access roads were damaged but the sun finally shone again and enabled our team back to the field. Many vinaceous-breasted amazon have already been located and they are well. Our thoughts are with the families who still suffer the damage caused by bad weather.
